About Me
I am less a Guitar player than a musician letting the music flow through me while using the Guitar for that purpose. I have been given the opportunity to deliver the message to others with a voice of my own. As a native of Western New York, I was fortunate to be in an exciting place and time for music. In the 1950's and early 60's there were great Guitar players such as Tommy Tedesco, Charlie Chiarenza, Vince Brundo, Charlie Rodriquez and many others that were a major influence during my formative years as a musician. I started out as a drummer in 1962 and practiced until I drove my parents nuts. However, at the time I had only a chair, a book and a pair of sticks. Playing the drums taught me how to be a good follower as well as wanting more musical expression which developed a love for the Guitar.
